This pattern features alternating arrowhead shapes of light & dark which combine in the center to form a mid-range color mix. It can be woven in unlimited color combinations. The greater the contrast between the color groupings, the bolder the pattern will read.
I first saw this pattern in a catalog of antiques that featured early American textiles. Years later, I came upon the pattern again in a rug weaving project booklet. The method of construction is simple, but the possibilities endless. This pattern has become one of the building blocks that I use in many of my designs.
